Four Leaf Equity has bought, managed, improved and sold dozens of properties, providing families with comfortable homes of their own, often for the first time.

We believe that success in real estate is not about the property. It’s about the people. We strive to always act with integrity and professionalism, and we like making friends along the way.

We also believe in running our business like a tech startup. That means all of us work purely for equity — no salaries here — and that we only get paid after our investors get paid.

Management Team

DJ Scruggs

DJ Scruggs has owned and operated multiple businesses for over twenty years. Prior to investing in real estate full time, DJ founded, co-founded or was an early employee for eight companies in the software and digital media industries. He has successfully filled many roles in business, including raising capital, marketing, sales, operations and software development. A technology junkie, DJ frequently presents strategies for leveraging technology for real estate investing.

Adam Adams

Adam started investing in real estate in 2005. After repositioning his first apartment community in 2007 (from a $2MM value to $4MM value in 12 months) as a property manager, Adam bought his first multifamily apartment building. Since then, Adam has managed several single family fix & flips, and holds over a hundred multifamily rental doors. Adam is the organizer of Colorado’s most active real estate group, and he hosts the Creative Real Estate Podcast. Adam has been a guest on countless popular podcasts including the Best Ever Show, Investor Army and the Investability Podcast.

Manny Perez

Manny Perez is a full-time investor/co-owner of BlueSpruce Companies. Manny has been investing in real estate since 2013 and understands a great investment deal when he sees one. Manny is also a licensed real estate agent in the state of Colorado. His experience as an investor/agent, gives BlueSpruce the advantage of obtaining knowledge for the market areas very quickly and making the transactions go as smooth as possible. For Four Leaf Equity, Manny primarily focuses on market research, underwrites properties as a back up to DJ Scruggs and acts as the transaction coordinator for the company.

Robin Deibel

Robin Deibel is apartment investor and multifamily syndicator, as well as the administrator for BlueSpruce Holdings. Robin got started in real estate as a private note investor to make passive income. From there she developed a passion for helping her friends safely invest in real estate. Prior to focusing on real estate full time, Robin served four years of active duty in the Navy as a technician for the F-18 Super Hornet aboard the USS George Washington.

Brad Lowery

Brad earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Mississippi State. Prior to focusing on real estate, Brad worked in the special programs department for Sikorsky Aircraft, conducting in depth infrared analysis on the UH-60 M Blackhawk, using proprietary composites to mitigate susceptibility from surface-to-air missile attacks. After reading the Rich Dad, Poor Dad series, Brad decided to get into real estate by partnering with Adam and Manny. He currently performs underwriting for all incoming deals and enjoys applying his engineering skills to implementing new strategies to improve the underwriting process.

Chad Wittfeldt

Chad started investing in the equities market when he was just 17 years old, and a few years later moved over to the currency markets. Real Estate had always interested Chad, but he didn’t know how to effectively get into the market at the time. He joined BlueSpruce to apply his online media skills while learning about real estate. It is by far his favorite asset class because of the controllability of your inputs and outputs, risk aversion, and tax incentives.

Education and mentorship are core values to BlueSpruce Holdings. To that end, we have recruited a very talented and experienced group of people to our Advisory Board to aid us in our development.

Jeannie Orlowski

Jeannie has been in the real estate business for more than 40 years. Her commitment to deliver honest and trustworthy solutions has been instrumental in her success in raising private money. She has worked for RE Mentor, the real estate investing education company, for 17 years in many capacities including Investor Relations Manager, Customer Service, Coach and assistant.

Allison Kirschbaum

Allison is a nationally recognized expert on finding, funding and managing real estate investments, especially in the asset classes of self storage and assisted living properties. She and her partners have raised millions of dollars in private equity for their real estate deals and are experts in creative acquisition strategies. She is consistently invited to speak in person and on podcasts about real estate and has 14 years of experience as a business owner and manager.

Sarah May

Sarah has always been passionate about real estate and how investment real estate can help the average person reach their financial goals much faster than they can with a 401(k). She and her husband started Regency Investment Group in 2016 with a dual mission: to help educate people on real estate investing and to provide passive investment opportunities that don’t require investors to actively manage the properties. Regency helps investors experience the benefits of property ownership without having to deal with “tenants, toilets, and termites.”

Al Roberson

Al owns a real estate brokerage and a real estate development company, while providing consulting services for Lead Funding, a Colorado based private lender. Lead Funding specializes in funding real estate investors involved in all types of development transactions. Al’s business does an average of 10-12 of their own real estate projects every year, and consults and coaches other investors to develop their skills.

Tony Spandrio

Tony spent 25 years in the commercial printing industry before catching the real estate bug in 2009. Tony commenced educating himself in finance and real estate investing. Within six months Tony acquired his first property with no money down. Within twelve months, Tony had acquired fourteen more properties and had begun to build his passive income by acquiring rental properties. Today, Tony enjoys speaking to groups large and small, sharing his chills and thrills, fears and failures, sensations and successes. Using the techniques that Tony teaches through Cash Flow Essentials, many of his students have had profound success in less than nine months.

Siva Venugopalan

Siva Venugopalan is the CEO of an engineering business and the manager of Passive Real Estate Investment Group. He has interest in 1,000 units and a large new sports complex development. He is a coach, trainer, and speaker in the CEO and leadership circuit. His interest is to help other business owners and busy professionals to develop leadership skills and increase their influence in their sphere. He is married and has two boys.
